Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Gummidge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian Gummidge has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Gummidge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Thomas Lee!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee shoots in and drives through. Gummidge sprawls well.
Gummidge scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown but Gummidge manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.
Brian Gummidge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Lee.
Lee dives in for a single leg takedown but Gummidge sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gummidge has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Scrapyard in the buildup to the fight.

Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gummidge swivels and escapes.
Lee takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Gummidge lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gummidge bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Gummidge takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses.
Lee tries to counter with a clinch but Gummidge shakes him off and moves away.

Lee gets caught napping as Gummidge dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.

Gummidge will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lee is in close to Gummidge's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brian Gummidge will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gummidge but Gummidge pushes him off and we're back to square one.
