Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Belfidus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitor Belfidus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vitor Belfidus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Black Fist!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belfidus closes the distance and pushes Fist back into the cage.
Belfidus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fist avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fist breaks from the clinch.
Fist shoots for a double leg takedown but Belfidus sprawls well. He's pushed Fist's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Belfidus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fist on his heels. He'll look to pass Fist's guard now, I'm sure.

Belfidus is stalling in the full guard.
Belfidus wants to pass the guard but Fist is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Belfidus gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Belfidus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Belfidus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fist manages to avoid it.
Belfidus dives in for a single leg takedown but Fist sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitor Belfidus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Belfidus is looking to break free of the clinch but Fist has double underhooks.
Belfidus tries to pull guard but Fist won't allow it.
Belfidus fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Fist gets control of Belfidus's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fist will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Fist is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fist is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Belfidus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Belfidus trying to control the position from guard on top but Fist is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fist wants to get back to his feet but Belfidus is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Fist dodges the punch combination from Belfidus.
Fist has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Belfidus is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Belfidus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fist circles away.
Fist throws a quick inside leg kick.

Belfidus moves into range and clinches up with Fist.
Belfidus struggles to land a body shot inside as Fist controls his hands.

Fist manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Fist keeping moving, preventing Belfidus from controlling successfully.
Belfidus stops Fist from standing up.

Belfidus has gone for a leg lock! Fist slips out almost immediately though and dives into Belfidus's guard.

Fist in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fist wants to control from the top but Belfidus keeps moving.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Belfidus looking for a sweep. Not yet Belfidus, not yet.
Belfidus is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vitor Belfidus will probably get the nod.

Belfidus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fist walks away with a smile on his face. Belfidus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Belfidus takes the fight into the clinch.

Fist is pressed up against the cage. Belfidus has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fist down to the mat. Fist avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fist gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Belfidus tries to kick Fist off but Fist keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belfidus is looking to improve his position.

Fist is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Belfidus has managed to free his arm - good work.
Belfidus is not content to let Fist control the position.

Belfidus actively working from the bottom here.

Belfidus wants to control but Fist is keeping busy.
Fist stops Belfidus from getting back to his feet.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Fist looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Belfidus shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fist blocking the ground and pound attempt from Belfidus.

Belfidus is just content to waste time from the top position. Fist takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Belfidus decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fist, up you get!

Fist tries to score a body lock takedown but Belfidus shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Belfidus drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fist gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Belfidus has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fist after a bit of a struggle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vitor Belfidus dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Fist tries to close the distance and clinch up but Belfidus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Belfidus misses with a leg kick.

Fist tries to keep at a distance but Belfidus has taken the fight into the clinch.
Belfidus misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fist.

Belfidus drags the fight down to the ground.

Belfidus looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Belfidus preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Belfidus wants to stand and escape but Fist is having none of it.
Belfidus is controlling Fist's posture.
Fist wants to control from the top but Belfidus keeps moving.

Belfidus pushes a forearm under Fist's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fist is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
