Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chocolate Al (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shunsui Kyoraku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chocolate Al!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shunsui Kyoraku!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Al misses the target.
Kyoraku throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kyoraku scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kyoraku fails to land with a series of punches.
Al uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kyoraku.
Kyoraku swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kyoraku takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kyoraku rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Al counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Shunsui Kyoraku has been cut.
A lazy left from Al finds it's target.
Kyoraku displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Al throws out the jab.
Kyoraku stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A jab from Al finds it's way through Kyoraku's defenses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kyoraku is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Al had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Al motions for Kyoraku to come forward. Al throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kyoraku's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Al shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Al lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kyoraku has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kyoraku and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Al tries to close the distance and clinch but Kyoraku swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Al is looking to control Kyoraku's arms but Kyoraku gets an underhook and turns him. Now Al has his back to the cage.

Kyoraku has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Al seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Kyoraku can turn it around.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chocolate Al.
Well Al has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Chocolate Al decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
