8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Odin Tualasamony! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Tualasamony fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tualasamony moves into the clinch. Kane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Tualasamony is looking to score with knees to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice body kick there by Kane. Tualasamony doesn't manage to clinch there - Kane circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tualasamony uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kane. Kane closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tualasamony can do anything to dispel that myth. Kane prevents Tualasamony from improving his position. Kane in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tualasamony tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kane!
