Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Deep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Deep will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Eugene Moss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Deep!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deep manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Moss on his heels. He'll look to pass Moss's guard now, I'm sure.
Moss wants to stand up but Deep is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deep is looking to advance position but Moss has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Deep tries to hold on but Moss pushes him away.
The referee warns Deep that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Deep is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deep is trying desperately to improve position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moss avoids the attempt from Deep to control.
Deep is looking to improve his position but Moss isn't that keen on the idea.
Deep looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Deep is in bad spot here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Deep tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Moss manages to capitalize on a mistake by Deep to take his back!

Moss looking for the RNC.
Deep is covering up but some of the strikes from Moss are getting through and doing damage.
Deep is really stuck here.

Moss is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Deep knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Deep for a finish.
Deep rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Deep has a hand on Moss's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Moss takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Moss could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Deep is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Moss manages to capitalize on a mistake by Deep to take his back!

Moss is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Deep is just riding it out for now. Moss eventually gives up the hold.
Deep manages to get to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Deep looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Moss has picked Deep up and slammed him! Deep can't keep hold of the triangle and Moss manages to pass to side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Deep misses with a head kick.

Deep throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moss tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Deep is in Moss's guard.
Deep passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deep throws a strike but Moss avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Deep being controlled here momentarily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Deep accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deep wants to control from the top but Moss keeps moving.

Eugene Moss overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Deep postures up in Moss's guard and throws a big left but Moss blocks it.
Moss tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Deep wants to stand but Moss has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Deep trying to control but Moss is working from the bottom.
Deep wants to pass the guard but Moss is keeping the position.

Deep wants to stand but Moss has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Moss might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Deep being controlled here momentarily.
Deep wants to get up but he can't break Moss's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Deep wants to pass the guard but Moss is keeping the position.

Deep trying to control but Moss is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Deep throws a head kick that misses.
Sloppy strikes from Deep. Those never looked like landing.
Deep misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Deep is breathing heavily.
Deep shoots in looking for a takedown but Moss manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Deep's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Deep pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Deep gets caught flat footed, as Moss shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Deep trying to control the position.
Moss preventing the sweep.
Moss scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Deep wants to hit a switch here but Moss passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Deep there!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Moss putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but John Deep will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Moss scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Deep is looking to reverse the position.
Deep taking punishment in the form of punches.
Deep is looking for a sweep.
Deep wants to control but Moss postures up.

Moss tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moss lands with a punch from half guard.
Deep trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Deep is in all sorts of trouble here.
Deep manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Moss is thwarting Deep's attempts to control the position.
Deep is trying to stand.
Moss thows a huge punch but Deep dodges it nicely.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Moss takes the fight into the clinch.

Deep drags the fight down to the ground.
Deep wants to sweep but no luck.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Moss throws a big right hand that misses.
Moss trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Deep lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Moss is controlling Deep's posture.
Deep trying to control the position from guard on top but Moss is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Deep pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moss is keeping the position for now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eugene Moss showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Moss has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
