Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Holland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ground Sparbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Andrew Holland has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Holland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ground Sparbot!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holland throws a looping overhand right but Sparbot ducks down to avoid it.
Sparbot slips a jab from Holland.
Sparbot blocks a jab.
Nice takedown defense from Holland. No joy for Sparbot on that attempt.
Sparbot walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Holland throws a jab but it's blocked by Sparbot.
Sparbot tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A head kick from Holland lands but Sparbot takes it in his stride.

and Sparbot counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Sparbot wants to free his trapped foot but Holland is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Sparbot is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Holland wants to get back to his feet.

Sparbot is trying to control the action in half guard but Holland is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Holland tries to kick Sparbot off but Sparbot keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Holland throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Sparbot throws an elbow that misses. Holland uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sparbot's guard. Nice move by Holland!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sparbot is on top in guard.

Sparbot tries to free his leg and advance position but Holland is retaining full guard.
Sparbot wants to control from the top but Holland keeps moving.

Holland wants to stand up but Sparbot is controlling him.

Holland is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sparbot is controlling him.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Holland feints and then cracks Sparbot's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sparbot down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ground Sparbot will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters circling - Holland throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sparbot slips a straight right by Holland.
Sparbot changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Holland gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sparbot seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sparbot working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sparbot darts in looking for a takedown but Holland gets double underhooks and turns Sparbot into the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sparbot is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've been hearing good reports from Holland's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holland lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Holland cracks Sparbot with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Holland throws a combination. Sparbot tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Holland throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sparbot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holland lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Sparbot counters with a shoot takedown. Holland fights it but they end up in guard.

Sparbot drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sparbot jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Holland wants to stand and escape but Sparbot is having none of it.

Sparbot tries to free his leg and advance position but Holland is retaining full guard.
Sparbot is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Holland will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sparbot passes Holland's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Sparbot is looking for a kimura but Holland is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sparbot to get the leverage.
Sparbot works his foot free and advances to mount.
Holland is trying to stand.
Holland is squirming around, avoiding Sparbot's attempts to control the action.
Holland trying desperately to get to his feet.
Holland is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sparbot can do to turn this around?

Sparbot looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Sparbot can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holland is looking to escape.
Holland holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sparbot tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Sparbot has control of Holland's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Holland regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Holland is squirming around, avoiding Sparbot's attempts to control the action.
