Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timms avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sawyer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Timms , pushing him back against the cage.
Timms drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sawyer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sawyer has eaten all the pies!
Sawyer manages to pull guard.
Timms preventing the sweep.
Timms wants to pass the guard but Sawyer is keeping the position.
Timms gets to his feet - Sawyer follows without any prompting.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Timms rushes Sawyer and presses him up against the cage.
Timms is looking to take this one to the mat.
Sawyer breaks from the clinch.
Timms throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Shane Sawyer has been cut.
Timms looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sawyer is fending him off so far but Timms persists. Nope, Sawyer circles away and we're back to standing.

Sawyer fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sawyer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Timms manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sawyer swats away the attempt to clinch by Timms .
Timms fails in his attempt to clinch.
Timms uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sawyer.
Timms shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sawyer as he jumps to the side.
Sawyer throws a front kick that sends Timms stumbling back into the cage.
Timms is looking to slow Sawyer down with leg kicks.
Timms fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Timms is breathing heavily.
Sawyer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Timms to the mat! Timms manages to get full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sawyer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Timms wants to sweep here but Sawyer controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sawyer stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Sawyer gets the takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sawyer has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Timms is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Sawyer yanks on the arm and Timms is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Sawyer.
