Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Kenjii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bongo Drum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bongo Drum has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuki Kenjii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bongo Drum! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Kenjii misses. Drum gets the takedown into side control. Drum wants to control but Kenjii is keeping him busy. Kenjii is looking to reverse the position. Drum in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Drum advances nicely into full mount. Kenjii wants to control but Drum is having none of it. Kenjii is looking to get to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kenjii is squirming around, avoiding Drum's attempts to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drum looking to finish with strikes here!
Drum avoids the attempt from Kenjii to control. Drum trying to control but Kenjii is having none of it. Drum controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kenjii holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Drum tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Drum looking to control but Kenjii is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kenjii on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kenjii tries to get out of the position. Drum throwing strikes here but Kenjii is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drum lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenjii in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Drum controlling his opponent. Drum can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kenjii is looking to escape. Drum thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Kenjii is squirming around, avoiding Drum's attempts to control the action. Drum throwing strikes here but Kenjii is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Drum lands a big shot there that rocks Kenjii but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Drum shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Drum passes Kenjii's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kenjii trying to control but Drum postures up.
Drum perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Drum trying to control the action but Kenjii is working from the bottom. Drum is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kenjii! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drum trying to control but Kenjii is having none of it. Drum is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Drum sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Drum wants to control the pace but Kenjii is squirming around nicely. Kenjii knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drum on the ground. Kenjii tries to hold on but Drum pushes him away. Drum lands with some strikes. Kenjii is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Drum has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drum punishing his opponent with strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Drum cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Drum working away from the top, dropping strikes. Drum trying to control but he's not successful this time. Drum connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kenjii wants to control but Drum is having none of it. Drum has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drum trying to control but Kenjii is having none of it. Drum content just to control the position here. Drum punishing his opponent with strikes. Kenjii is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Drum. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Drum can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kenjii is looking to escape. Drum might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kenjii haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Drum controlling from the full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kenjii is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bongo Drum showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Drum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kenjii tries to avoid it but Drum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kenjii to the ground. Kenjii escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kenjii bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Drum's head. Drum blocks a jab. Drum is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kenjii sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Drum moves forwards but Kenjii connects with a nice, crisp jab. Drum shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Yuki Kenjii has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bongo Drum. Drum goes for a double leg but Kenjii avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kenjii continues to drive forward. Kenjii is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Drum is keeping busy. Drum is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kenjii can't fight it off and eventually Drum manages to take the fight to the floor. Kenjii looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Drum stands and throws Kenjii's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drum taking a breather here. Drum wants to control but Kenjii is keeping him busy. Drum in side control, just content to control the action for now. Drum wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kenjii keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kenjii gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Kenjii holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Drum tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Drum trying to control but Kenjii is having none of it. Poor strikes thrown by Drum there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Let's hope that Drum has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Drum trying to control but Kenjii is having none of it. Drum takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Yuki Kenjii has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bongo Drum is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Bongo Drum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Drum winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
