Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Everton Belmiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konan Kearsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Everton Belmiro could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Konan Kearsley's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Everton Belmiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Konan Kearsley! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.

Belmiro is looking to clinch. Kearsley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Belmiro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kearsley somewhat. Belmiro looks to land a combination but Kearsley avoids it well. Kearsley fails with the takedown.
Belmiro closes the distance and pushes Kearsley back into the cage. Kearsley is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Belmiro is defending well. Everton Belmiro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konan Kearsley. Kearsley is trying to pull guard but Belmiro turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Kearsley misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belmiro pushes Kearsley back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kearsley tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Belmiro has a couple of punches blocked by Kearsley.
Kearsley tries to pull guard but Belmiro holds him up against the cage and eventually Kearsley drops back down to his feet.

Kearsley has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Belmiro after a bit of a struggle. Belmiro lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Kearsley jumps guard but Belmiro turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kearsley fails to pull guard.
Belmiro lands with a short shot to the head. Belmiro makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Kearsley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Belmiro walks away with a smile on his face. Kearsley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Belmiro lands a left and a right that send Kearsley crashing to the mat, dazed. Belmiro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Konan Kearsley has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Kearsley ducks right into an uppercut from Belmiro. Kearsley is still on wobbly legs! Can Belmiro finish him?
Belmiro has closed the distance and engaged Kearsley in a clinch.
Kearsley seems to have recovered his senses. Belmiro wants to break free but Kearsley has control.
Belmiro is working Kearsley over against the cage. Kearsley looks winded!
Kearsley wants the takedown. Belmiro is fighting it off but Kearsley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Belmiro's guard against the cage.
Belmiro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kearsley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Belmiro throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Belmiro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kearsley forces his way into half guard. Belmiro misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Belmiro is trying to control but can't.
Kearsley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belmiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Belmiro leaning his opponent against the cage. Belmiro looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Belmiro stops a takedown attempt from Kearsley.
Kearsley takes a shot to the head. Belmiro slows down the pace here.

Belmiro misses with an elbow strike.
Kearsley is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Belmiro wants to stall.
Belmiro lands a left hand.

Kearsley has hold of one of Belmiro's legs. Belmiro is fighting the takedown attempt but Kearsley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Kearsley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Everton Belmiro dominated that round. The cut man is working on Konan Kearsley's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kearsley looks for a takedown but Belmiro sprawls well. Kearsley is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Belmiro. The fight stays on the outside here - Belmiro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Oooooh!!! Belmiro has knocked Kearsley down with a huge combo! Belmiro steps away and waves a wobbly Kearsley back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Belmiro is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Kearsley flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kearsley is out cold! Belmiro holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
