Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Viana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papu Patwari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Viana looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Viana is trying to break the clinch but Patwari is controlling him.
Viana jumps guard and drags Patwari to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Viana controls Patwari momentarily but Patwari frees himself.

Patwari is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Viana enables Patwari to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Viana manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Viana shoots in for a takedown but Patwari shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Patwari is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Viana can't fight it off and eventually Patwari manages to take the fight to the floor. Viana looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Papu Patwari showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Patwari shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Viana eats them both and turns towards Patwari to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Patwari shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Viana 's guard.
Patwari postures up in Viana 's guard and throws a big left but Viana blocks it.
Viana can't keep his opponent in guard - Patwari advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
