Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gonzalo Britt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Queen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Queen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Britt closes the distance and pushes Queen back into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Britt's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Britt wants to get back to striking at distance but Queen won't allow it.
Queen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A nice left hand lands by Queen.

Britt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Queen forces Britt back against the cage and clinches.

Queen pulls guard effortlessly.
Queen is trying to hold Britt in close to prevent damage but Britt has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Queen has had enough of the clinch but Britt keeps him there for the moment.

A looping hook to the body misses from Queen. Britt does a little dance to reset his feet.

Queen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Queen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Queen works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Queen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Queen manages to end up in side control.
Queen is looking to take a break and control but Britt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Britt gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Queen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Queen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Britt back to the cage. Queen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Gonzalo Britt has been cut.
Queen is breathing heavily.
Queen blocks a jab.
Oh Britt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Queen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Britt is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Britt manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Queen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Queen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well Queen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
