Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dominickoy Palhares!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Palhares tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lee is in Palhares's guard.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Palhares swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lee postures up.
Lee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Palhares looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Lee is defending well. Palhares quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lee has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Palhares celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

A less than humble Dominickoy Palhares misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
