Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Prince!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince fails with a takedown attempt.
Kane misses with a right hand
and Prince holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kane misses with a body shot.
Kane doesn't manage to clinch there - Prince circles away.
As Kane looks to move away, Prince throws a big counter combo bu Kane just gets out of the way.
Kane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prince gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Prince goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kane has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Prince but great work by Kane.

Kane is looking to take a break and control but Prince is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prince not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Prince wants to stand up but Kane has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Prince goes for a double leg but Kane avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kane continues to drive forward.

and Prince counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Prince.
Kane blocks an uppercut.
Kane prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Prince. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane struggles to land a body shot inside as Prince controls his hands.
Prince has a couple of punches blocked by Kane.
Kane throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kane looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Prince utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Prince isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kane stacks Prince on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kane!

Kane cracks Prince with a big elbow.

Kane closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Prince's guard.

Kane stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Kane misses with a two punch combination.
Prince tries to counter with a takedown but Kane is quick to defend against it.

Kane closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kane lands in his opponent's guard.

Prince will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kane stands and steps away. Prince gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Prince wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Kane is now in half guard.
Evander Kane has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kane wants to pass to mount but Prince is defending the position.
Prince moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kane postures up in Prince's guard and throws a big left but Prince blocks it.

Kane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kane cracks Prince with a solid left hand.

Kane wants to control but Prince is keeping him busy.
Kane is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Prince has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kane throws a strike aimed at the side of Prince's head but Prince avoids it well.
Kane wants to take a breather but Prince manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Kane.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kane wants to clinch up but Prince keeps it at a distance.
Kane throws a nice looking combination but Prince bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kane thuds a left hand into Prince's body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kane moves into range and clinches up with Prince.
A bit of stalling here from Kane.

Evander Kane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Prince's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Kane looks for the body kick but Prince saw that one coming.
Kane gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kane lands a left hand.
Kane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Prince lands a shoulder strike.
Kane has Prince pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kane pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Prince tumbling to the mat - Kane dives into Prince's guard.
Kane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Prince has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kane has managed to get both his arms back between Prince's legs - danger averted.

Prince escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Prince utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Prince is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kane gets to his feet - Prince follows without any prompting.
Kane shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Prince manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kane slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kane wants to control from the top but Prince keeps moving.

Prince wants to control the position but Kane says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kane connects with a nice short shot to Prince's temple.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kane lands a nice short elbow.
Kane wants to pass the guard but Prince is defending well.
Kane lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kane drops an elbow to the side of Prince's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Prince is just riding it out for now. Kane eventually gives up the hold.
Kane wants to take a breather but Prince is having none of it.
Evander Kane is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Prince is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kane pulls his head out easily.

Evander Kane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
