Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bart Waller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Ferrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bart Waller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luis Ferrera! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferrera tries a head kick but it misses.
Ferrera darts in and clinches Waller up against the cage. Ferrera breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Waller throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. No luck for Waller with that takedown attempt. Ferrera closes the distance and pushes Waller back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ferrera manages to break the clinch.
Ferrera drives through with a takedown into guard. Ferrera trying to stand up but can't free himself from Waller's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrera postures up.
Waller wants to get back to his feet but Ferrera is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ferrera controlling from the top position. Ferrera's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Waller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ferrera is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Waller working a defensive guard here.
Ferrera seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ferrera rushes Waller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ferrera stalling against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Waller is trying to force a seperation but Ferrera has the dominant position. Waller is trying to push Ferrera away but Ferrera has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Waller wants to break free but Ferrera has control.
Ferrera manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferrera tries a head kick but it misses.
Waller feinted with a counter takedown. Ferrera looks to land a right hand but Waller moved out of range. Ferrera clinches with his opponent.
Ferrera can't get the takedown.
Ferrera stalls. Ferrera misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Waller.
Ferrera is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Ferrera breaks from the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waller tries for a takedown but Ferrera sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ferrera is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Waller's half guard. Ferrera prevents Waller from improving his position. Ferrera wants to stand up but Waller has a hold of him and won't allow it. Waller is looking to escape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ferrera is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Waller pushes Ferrera off looking to stand but Ferrera dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luis Ferrera dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ferrera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Waller pinned against the cage. Waller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ferrera shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Waller napping and manages to drive through into side control! Ferrera wants to stand but Waller has his arm trapped. Ferrera looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ferrera connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Waller some visible discomfort.

That's one minute gone in the round. Waller tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Ferrera easily slips into full mount! Waller really wants to buck Ferrera off and get back to his feet. Luis Ferrera has got the better of the ground game so far. Waller tries to lock up and control but Ferrera gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ferrera takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ferrera is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Waller is surviving well by controlling Ferrera's body position as best he can. Waller tries to hold on but Ferrera pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Waller is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Waller tries to hold on but Ferrera postures up. Waller is in all sorts of trouble here.
Waller takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Waller is rocked! Waller tries to hold on but Ferrera postures up. Oh Waller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ferrera working for a submission but Waller is keeping him at bay. Ferrera looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Waller covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
