Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Huey Randolph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Artur Szpilka! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Szpilka moves into the clinch successfully.
Szpilka jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Randolph walks away with a smile on his face. Szpilka gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Szpilka misses with a series of wild punches.
Szpilka gets a clinch. Randolph tries to pull guard but Szpilka won't allow it.
Szpilka tries to land knees in the clinch but Randolph avoids the damage to the body. Randolph is trying to stall.
Randolph stops a takedown attempt from Szpilka.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Szpilka tries to stall but Randolph uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Randolph tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Szpilka smiles and moves away.
No joy there for Szpilka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Szpilka. Szpilka thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Randolph if he has to take too many more of those.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Szpilka. Randolph tries to counter by clinching up but Szpilka breaks away and moves out of range. Huey Randolph has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artur Szpilka. Szpilka gets in close and instigates a clinch. Szpilka manages to break the clinch.
Szpilka throws a body punch but Randolph moves out of range. Randolph seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Szpilka moves into the clinch. Szpilka breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Randolph tightens his grip and picks Szpilka up, before dumping him to the ground. Szpilka manages to land in guard. Randolph gets to his feet. Szpilka looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Szpilka has closed the distance and engaged Randolph in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Szpilka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Randolph gets caught napping as Szpilka dives in and scores a takedown. Randolph manages to retain guard. Szpilka throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Szpilka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Randolph works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Randolph is breathing heavily. Szpilka working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Szpilka would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Szpilka trying to control the position from guard on top but Randolph is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Szpilka wanted to stand there but Randolph had control of the position. Randolph keeping moving, preventing Szpilka from controlling successfully. Randolph is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Szpilka won't allow Randolph to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Szpilka working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Randolph's head. Szpilka wants to stand but Randolph has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Szpilka lands a couple of elbows. Randolph avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Szpilka moves into the clinch. Randolph is pressed up against the cage. Szpilka has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Randolph down to the mat. Randolph avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Szpilka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Randolph throws a quick counter head kick but Szpilka was just out of range. Szpilka shoots in for a double leg but Randolph sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Artur Szpilka dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Szpilka shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Randolph is trying to defend but Szpilka finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Szpilka is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Szpilka wants to get up but he can't break Randolph's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Randolph controlling the position. Szpilka seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Szpilka trying to control but Randolph is working from the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Szpilka tries a head kick but it misses.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Szpilka shoots in for a takedown but Randolph shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Szpilka fails with a takedown attempt. It looks like Huey Randolph has been cut. Randolph really is a fat lump. Randolph tries a head kick but it misses.

Szpilka shoots for a takedown but Randolph saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Randolph stuffs the takedown attempt from Szpilka. Szpilka gets slowly back to his feet. Randolph is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Szpilka.

Artur Szpilka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Huey Randolph's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Szpilka manages to pull guard.
Szpilka controlling Randolph's posture. Randolph throws a big elbow that misses. Randolph is looking to work some ground and pound but Szpilka has wrist control. Szpilka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Randolph might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Randolph missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randolph stands and steps away. Szpilka gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Szpilka closes the distance and clinches. Szpilka jumps into guard, dragging Randolph to the mat.
Randolph decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Szpilka, up you get! Szpilka takes the fight into the clinch. Randolph tries to pull guard but Szpilka forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Szpilka is working for takedown but Randolph is calmly controlling the position for now. Huey Randolph has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artur Szpilka. Randolph tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Szpilka smiles and moves away.

Randolph avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Huey Randolph has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Artur Szpilka is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Randolph drags the fight down to the ground.
And that's the end of the fight! Artur Szpilka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Szpilka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
