Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Potter!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Potter might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Pete has got the better of the exchanges.

Potter sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Pete throws a sloppy head kick and Potter moves out of range easily.
And Potter tries to counter it with a takedown but Pete pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Potter tries to free his leg and advance position but Pete is retaining full guard.

Potter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pete's guard.

Potter throws an elbow but Pete slips to the side and avoids it well.

Potter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pete!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

It looks like Texas Pete has been cut.
Potter throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Potter lands a couple of good shots and Pete has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Harry Potter has got the better of the ground game so far.
