Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randal Burt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randal Burt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jose Hernandez! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hernandez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burt somewhat. Burt sets himself, and Hernandez steps forward looking for the clinch! Burt avoids it this time. Hernandez throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Burt keeps the fight on the outside. Burt shoots in looking for a takedown. Hernandez tries to sprawl out of it but Burt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hernandez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hernandez connects with a high kick.
Randal Burt's cut is getting worse. Hernandez throws a body punch but Burt moves out of range. Burt wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Hernandez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Burt is trying to defend but Hernandez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Burt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hernandez scores with a couple of nice shots.
Burt is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Burt is refusing to be controlled, as Hernandez sits in half guard. Well, if Hernandez is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hernandez passes into side control, despite Burt's attempt to control the position.
Burt misses with a strike from the bottom. Burt is looking for a sweep. Hernandez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Burt to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burt is looking to regain half guard here but Hernandez keeps moving and retains side control. Burt manages to get back to half guard. Burt landing strikes from the bottom. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hernandez in particular looking to stall. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hernandez trying to pass the guard but Burt defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hernandez passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Burt! Burt has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Hernandez's lack of action.
Burt flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hernandez is working for a kimura but Burt is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jose Hernandez dominated that round. The cut man is working on Randal Burt's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hernandez gets a takedown into half guard. Hernandez trying to control from half guard but Burt is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burt trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Hernandez manages to pass to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez controlling from the full mount. Burt really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Hernandez lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burt takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Burt is bucking up trying to escape but Hernandez cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Oh Burt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Burt is looking to improve his position but Hernandez isn't that keen on the idea. Hernandez looking to secure an arm triangle but Burt defends it well. Hernandez loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Burt scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hernandez land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hernandez stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Hernandez!
