Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joesph Wyatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Wayne! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyatt shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wayne napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wyatt is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Wayne is trying to control Wyatt's posture but Wyatt avoids it. Wyatt is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wayne's shoulder. That is not cool. Wyatt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Wayne tries to buck Wyatt off but Wyatt is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wyatt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wyatt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wyatt working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt stands up and we're back to a striking position. A swing and a miss from Wayne. Wayne has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Wayne misses with a combination
and Wyatt counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wayne's knee momentarily. Wayne connects with a body shot that sends Wyatt's belly button to the back. Horrible takedown attempt by Wyatt or perhaps it was just good defense by Wayne, which made it look bad. Wayne wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wayne throws a jab but it's blocked by Wyatt. Wyatt appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Wyatt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wayne avoids it really well and circles away. Wayne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Wayne enables Wyatt to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wayne manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wyatt controls from within his opponent's guard. Wayne not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wyatt throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wyatt is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wayne wants to sweep here but Wyatt controlling him for the moment. Wyatt postures up.
Wayne wants to stand and escape but Wyatt is having none of it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Wayne looking to control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wayne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wyatt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wayne throws a lazy right hand but Wyatt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Wyatt quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Wayne misses with a lunging right hand
and Wyatt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wayne's guard. Wayne trying to control the position.
Wyatt throws a big elbow that misses. Wyatt preventing the sweep. Wyatt controls from within his opponent's guard. Wyatt won't allow Wayne to sweep him here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wyatt is in close to Wayne's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wyatt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joesph Wyatt dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Wayne throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wyatt counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wyatt. Wyatt tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wayne just stands there and leans against the cage. Wayne misses with a short punch on the inside. Wyatt lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wyatt stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wyatt jumps guard but Wayne turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Wyatt tries to pull guard but Wayne forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joesph Wyatt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wayne tries to work over Wyatt's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Wayne looking to stall.
Wyatt effectively controlling the action here. Wayne can't break the clinch.
Wayne tries to circle away but Wyatt has him pinned against the cage. Wayne looking to slow down the pace here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wyatt lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wayne backwards. Wyatt turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wyatt manages to end up in side control. Wyatt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wyatt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wyatt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wayne has escaped the position, nice work there. A lull in the action here as Wyatt stalls from top position. Wyatt working the ground and pound from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wyatt decides to stand back up. Wayne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wyatt.

Wayne looking for a sweep but Wyatt has passed into full mount! Oh no! Wayne can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wayne is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wyatt punishing his opponent with strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wyatt cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wyatt is standing up, even though he is in mount. A jab lands there for Wayne. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wayne swings for the body but Wyatt moves out of range.
Wyatt blocks a jab. Wayne pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wyatt back to the cage. Wayne follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joesph Wyatt dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Wyatt appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Wayne connects with a body shot. Wyatt takes a shot right to the bread basket. Wayne just misses with a punch to the body.
Wyatt attempts a counter takedown but Wayne avoids it well and moves away. Wayne sizes up Wyatt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wyatt doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wyatt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wyatt is rocked! Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Wayne moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Wyatt! Wayne continues to tee off on Wyatt, landing with a left and a right! Wayne connects with a right hand that leaves Wyatt sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Wayne!
