Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sakura Chikono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Hizaoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sakura Chikono! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keiji Hizaoka! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hizaoka avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hizaoka moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hizaoka clinches. Chikono wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hizaoka is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Chikono wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Chikono is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hizaoka is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Chikono to the mat. Chikono regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hizaoka wants to control from the top but Chikono keeps moving. Chikono is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hizaoka gets to his feet - Chikono follows without any prompting. Chikono fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hizaoka connects with a high kick. Chikono moves out of range as Hizaoka strikes. Chikono stalks Hizaoka and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hizaoka's face. Hizaoka staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chikono digs a good body shot into Hizaoka's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chikono moves out of range of the strikes. Chikono lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Chikono. Chikono digs a good hook to Hizaoka's body.
Hizaoka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chikono to the mat! Chikono manages to get full guard. Hizaoka trying to control but Chikono is working from the bottom. Chikono throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hizaoka escapes and throws Chikono's legs to the side, diving into side control! Chikono is breathing heavily. Chikono is trying to improve his position. Hizaoka cracks Chikono with an elbow. That is naaassty. Hizaoka stands up and beckons Chikono to his feet. Chikono lands with a nice body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hizaoka looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Chikono! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chikono gets back to half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hizaoka seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hizaoka in particular looking to stall. Hizaoka moves into full mount! Chikono won't be happy about that! A nice elbow there by Hizaoka. Hizaoka dominating with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Hizaoka. The referee warns Chikono that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hizaoka can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chikono is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chikono tries to hold on but Hizaoka pushes him away. Hizaoka trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hizaoka content just to control the position here. Chikono is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hizaoka goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Chikono turns into him and now he's in Hizaoka's guard.
Hizaoka is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chikono drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chikono jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Chikono tries to free his leg and advance position but Hizaoka is retaining full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chikono works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Hizaoka manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hizaoka controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keiji Hizaoka dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hizaoka misses the shot to the body. Hizaoka tries to clinch but Chikono moves out of range. Chikono lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hizaoka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Chikono slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Chikono is trying to control the position but Hizaoka postures up. Hizaoka trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hizaoka wants to control from the top but Chikono keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hizaoka passes easily into side control. Nice work. Chikono is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hizaoka misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Hizaoka stands up. Chikono lands with a straight right. Hizaoka didn't see that one coming. Chikono throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Chikono works Hizaoka's body with a nice hook. Chikono works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Chikono misses with a wild combination.
Sakura Chikono is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hizaoka looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Chikono! The referee warns Chikono that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chikono bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Hizaoka has his foot on Chikono's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chikono works his way back into a safe position though. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hizaoka is on top in guard.

Chikono had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hizaoka is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Chikono Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hizaoka's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chikono is looking for the choke from the back position but Hizaoka is controlling his hands well. Hizaoka trying to control but not successfully. Chikono has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hizaoka has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Chikono is persistently looking for the submission but Hizaoka is defending it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hizaoka looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Chikono working for a choke but Hizaoka is defending well. Chikono patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Chikono is trying to stick to Hizaoka's back but Hizaoka is turning into Chikono. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Chikono's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hizaoka. Hizaoka wants to control from the top but Chikono keeps moving. Chikono is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keiji Hizaoka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Chikono tries to keep at a distance but Hizaoka has taken the fight into the clinch. Hizaoka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hizaoka throws a series of punches but Chikono moves out of range. Chikono lands a two punch combo.

Hizaoka scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Chikono can't keep his opponent in guard - Hizaoka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Chikono misses with a series of wild punches.
Chikono throws a lazy right hand but Hizaoka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Chikono on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hizaoka. Hizaoka obviously looking to wear him down.
Hizaoka shoots in and bounces Chikono off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Chikono trying to keep a closed guard but Hizaoka is proving a slippery customer.
Hizaoka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chikono swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chikono has his foot on Hizaoka's thigh. Keiji Hizaoka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hizaoka is stalling in the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Keiji Hizaoka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hizaoka winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
