Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jermey Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George West Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jermey Thompson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jermey Thompson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thompson.
Thompson slips a jab from West Jr.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
West Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
West Jr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
West Jr swings for the body but Thompson moves out of range.
Thompson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
West Jr throws a jab but it's blocked by Thompson.
A left lands for West Jr.
Thompson fails with the takedown.
West Jr scores with a crisp jab that stopped Thompson in his tracks.
West Jr missing with a left hand there. Thompson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Thompson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Thompson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thompson darts in trying to clinch
and West Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Thompson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Thompson is rocked!
Thompson drops his hands momentarily. West Jr doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Thompson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Thompson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). George West Jr!
