Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jithin Kundoor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leonardo Munoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jithin Kundoor!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kundoor misses with a takedown
letting Munoz counter with a right hand.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Munoz!
Munoz wants to clinch up but Kundoor keeps it at a distance.
Kundoor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Munoz as he jumps to the side.
Munoz appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kundoor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Munoz but Munoz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Leonardo Munoz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jithin Kundoor.

Munoz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kundoor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Munoz is in Kundoor's guard.
Munoz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kundoor wants to sweep but no luck.

Munoz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Munoz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Munoz stays in close to Kundoor's body and controls the position.
Munoz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Munoz won't allow Kundoor to get back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Munoz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kundoor defends well and Munoz ends up having to push Kundoor into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Munoz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kundoor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Munoz somewhat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Munoz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Munoz's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Munoz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kundoor works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kundoor wants to clinch up but Munoz keeps it at a distance.
Kundoor doesn't manage to clinch there - Munoz circles away.
Kundoor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Munoz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Munoz dodges the punch combination from Kundoor.
Munoz shoots in looking for a takedown but Kundoor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Munoz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kundoor feints and as Munoz raises his hands in defense, Kundoor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Munoz is on top in guard.

Kundoor can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Munoz controls the pace.
Munoz lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Munoz scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kundoor is working an open guard so Munoz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A right-left combo lands from Munoz.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Munoz, as that shot connected.
Kundoor fails with an attempt to clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Munoz's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Munoz is trying to force a seperation but Kundoor has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Munoz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kundoor misses with a punch on the inside.

Munoz jumps into guard, dragging Kundoor to the mat.

Kundoor stands and steps away. Munoz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Munoz throws a nice head kick!
Kundoor tries to close the distance and clinch but Munoz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kundoor shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Munoz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kundoor is breathing heavily.

Munoz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kundoor can do to turn this around?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kundoor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Munoz swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Munoz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kundoor tries to keep at a distance but Munoz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Munoz tries to circle away but Kundoor has him pinned against the cage.
Kundoor has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Munoz after a bit of a struggle.
Munoz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Munoz blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Munoz lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kundoor backwards.
Munoz keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kundoor's efforts to push away.
Kundoor is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Munoz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Munoz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kundoor to the mat! Kundoor manages to get full guard.

Kundoor is looking to stand up but Munoz isn't so interested in that idea.
Munoz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kundoor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Munoz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Munoz engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Munoz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Munoz slows the pace down in half guard.
Kundoor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Munoz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Munoz winds up and cracks Kundoor with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kundoor is trying to stand up here but Munoz is controlling him well.

Munoz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kundoor defends it well.
Kundoor takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Munoz thows a huge punch but Kundoor dodges it nicely.
Kundoor wants to control but Munoz is keeping busy.
Kundoor avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Munoz.
Well, if Munoz is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kundoor throws a right and a left that Munoz avoids nicely.

Munoz rushes Kundoor and presses him up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Munoz's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Munoz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Munoz closes the distance and clinches.
Munoz lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kundoor is trying to push Munoz away but Munoz has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kundoor is looking to break free of the clinch but Munoz has double underhooks.
Kundoor has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Munoz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kundoor wants to take the fight to the mat but Munoz manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Kundoor tries to stall but Munoz uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kundoor keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Munoz's efforts to push away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
