Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ralph King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Leite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leite is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fergie - Glamorous ft. Ludacris. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Leite!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leite closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Leite lands in his opponent's guard.
King wants to stand up but Leite is controlling him.

Leite stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Leite thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
King is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
King can't keep his opponent in guard - Leite advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Leite is trying to work for a kimura but King is defending well.
King wants to get back to his feet.

Leite is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Leite's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Leite's back!
King connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Leite to escape the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Ralph King will probably get the nod.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Leite's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King cracks Leite with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

King is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Leite can do to turn this around?

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Check out the look on King's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Leite takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Leite goes for a double leg but King avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as King continues to drive forward.

Horrible takedown attempt by Leite or perhaps it was just good defense by King, which made it look bad.
Ralph King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Leite.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

King manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
King wants to stand and escape but Leite is having none of it.

Leite shoots in looking for a takedown but King manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Leite's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

King connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Leite some visible discomfort.
Leite tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but King wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
King looks up at the clock and then as Leite takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, King smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Leite is trying to get back to his feet.

King stands up.

King clinches.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ralph King showed his dominance in that final round.
Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
