Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manny Lowdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tjorben Voorhoofd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Manny Lowdown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tjorben Voorhoofd!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowdown shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Voorhoofd napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lowdown swings around for an armbar but Voorhoofd sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lowdown's guard.
Voorhoofd is stalling in the full guard.
Lowdown isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Voorhoofd stacks Lowdown on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Voorhoofd!
Voorhoofd is staying tight to Lowdown's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lowdown is trying to control Voorhoofd's posture but Voorhoofd avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lowdown is looking to regain half guard here but Voorhoofd keeps moving and retains side control.
Voorhoofd is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lowdown's shoulder. That is not cool.
Lowdown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Let's hope that Voorhoofd has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Lowdown tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Voorhoofd is staying tight to Lowdown's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Manny Lowdown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Voorhoofd misses with a hook. Lowdown ducked under it nicely.
Lowdown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Voorhoofd throws an overhand right that lands on Lowdown's shoulder, as Lowdown tries to avoid the shot.
Lowdown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Voorhoofd tries to avoid it but Lowdown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Voorhoofd to the ground. Voorhoofd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Voorhoofd misses with a hook. Lowdown ducked under it nicely.

Voorhoofd tries to work over Lowdown's front leg with a kick but Lowdown checks it.
Lowdown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Voorhoofd as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manny Lowdown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lowdown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Voorhoofd appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Voorhoofd leaves Lowdown with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lowdown is defended easily by Voorhoofd.
Voorhoofd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lowdown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lowdown attempts a counter takedown but Voorhoofd avoids it well and moves away.
Lowdown slips a jab from Voorhoofd.
Lowdown shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Voorhoofd sprawls well. Voorhoofd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lowdown gets slowly back to his feet.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lowdown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Voorhoofd defends well and Lowdown ends up having to push Voorhoofd into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A nice side step and Voorhoofd releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Voorhoofd wants to clinch up but Lowdown keeps it at a distance.
Voorhoofd scores with a one two! Lowdown had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tjorben Voorhoofd dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Voorhoofd displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lowdown.
Voorhoofd slaps away a takedown attempt from Lowdown, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Voorhoofd throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lowdown counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lowdown is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Voorhoofd still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Voorhoofd has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Voorhoofd has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Voorhoofd moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Tjorben Voorhoofd seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Lowdown tries to score a power double leg takedown but Voorhoofd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lowdown somewhat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Voorhoofd connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lowdown momentarily.

Lowdown shoots for a takedown but Voorhoofd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oh Lowdown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lowdown slips under a jab from Voorhoofd.
Voorhoofd feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lowdown sprawling to the canvas! Lowdown rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Voorhoofd finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lowdown gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Voorhoofd gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Lowdown is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tjorben Voorhoofd!
