Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idriz Enveri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arthur Carvalho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Idriz Enveri! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Enveri takes the fight into the clinch. Enveri tightens his grip and picks Carvalho up, before dumping him to the ground. Carvalho manages to land in guard. Enveri wanted to stand there but Carvalho had control of the position. Carvalho has his foot on Enveri's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Enveri works his way back into a safe position though. Carvalho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Enveri loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Carvalho pulls Enveri in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Enveri throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Enveri trying to control the position from guard on top but Carvalho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Enveri is looking to work some ground and pound but Carvalho has wrist control. Enveri wants to control from the top but Carvalho keeps moving. Carvalho is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Enveri is aware though and is defending well. Carvalho avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Enveri is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Enveri missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Carvalho throws a head kick but Enveri moves out of range.
Enveri closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Enveri tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Carvalho regains half guard. Carvalho trying to hold on to Enveri's head to control him but Enveri postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Enveri wants to pass the guard but Carvalho is defending well. Enveri throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Enveri seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Carvalho does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Carvalho slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Carvalho trying to control the position here. Carvalho not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Enveri shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Carvalho avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Enveri trying to control but Carvalho is working from the bottom. Carvalho controls Enveri momentarily but Enveri frees himself. Enveri has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Carvalho to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Enveri is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Carvalho pulls down on the head and he's put Enveri to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Arthur Carvalho!
