Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Boma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Savolainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boma might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Andrew and Wada Blood - Irie. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boma throws an overhand right that lands on Savolainen's shoulder, as Savolainen tries to avoid the shot.
Boma sets himself, and Savolainen steps forward looking for the clinch! Boma avoids it this time.
Savolainen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Boma moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Jaakko Savolainen has been cut.
Savolainen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boma.

Boma wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Savolainen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boma circles away quickly and effectively.
No joy there for Savolainen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A nice inside leg kick there by Boma. That's going to slow Savolainen down.
Boma tries to close the distance and clinch up but Savolainen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Savolainen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Savolainen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boma's head backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Savolainen throws a sloppy body shot
and Boma cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boma lands a big head kick that sends Savolainen tumbling to the mat! Boma takes a step backwards and waves Savolainen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Savolainen dips to his left and cracks Boma with an uppercut!
Savolainen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That has opened up Jaakko Savolainen's cut even more.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Savolainen might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Boma has got the better of the exchanges.
A punch lands to the side of Boma 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Savolainen misses with a left hand
and Boma counters with a straight right hand.
The cut above Jaakko Savolainen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Boma feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Savolainen sprawling to the canvas! Savolainen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Boma finish him?!
Savolainen is still on wobbly legs! Can Boma finish him?

Boma is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Savolainen.
Boma misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Savolainen seems to have recovered his senses.
Boma throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Savolainen on the side of the head.
