The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raiden lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Oleg Vasiliev has been cut.
Raiden darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Vasiliev takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Raiden throws a low kick, looking for Vasiliev's leg but Vasiliev calmly moves out of range.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Raiden lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vasiliev has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vasiliev and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Quan Raiden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raiden throws a hook but Vasiliev blocks it.

Raiden throws a combination. Vasiliev tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vasiliev moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Vasiliev gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Raiden.
Raiden connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Vasiliev has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Quan Raiden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vasiliev gets the takedown into side control.
Vasiliev wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Raiden, who protects the arm well.

Raiden tries to buck Vasiliev off but Vasiliev is having none of it.

Raiden tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vasiliev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Vasiliev thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Raiden throws a quick inside leg kick.

The cut above Oleg Vasiliev's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Oleg Vasiliev's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Vasiliev drops his hands momentarily and Raiden takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
