Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruiser Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Broly Paragus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Broly Paragus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paragus fails with a takedown attempt.
Paragus stuffs the takedown attempt from Barnes. Barnes gets slowly back to his feet.
Paragus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barnes but Barnes pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Barnes counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barnes is keen to just control but Paragus is a slippery customer.
Paragus controlling the position well.
Paragus wants to improve his position but Barnes is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Paragus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barnes sprawls well. Barnes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Paragus gets slowly back to his feet.
Bruiser Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Broly Paragus .

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Barnes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Paragus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Paragus showed some decent athleticism there.
Barnes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Barnes.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barnes is on top in guard.

Barnes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Paragus is proving hard to escape from.
Barnes controls from within his opponent's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Paragus holds on and takes a little breather.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paragus can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Barnes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Paragus 's guard.
Paragus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Barnes wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Paragus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Paragus looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We've been informed that Paragus has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Paragus throws a big elbow that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruiser Barnes will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Paragus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barnes as he avoids it easily.
Paragus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barnes was well out of range. Poor timing from Paragus .

Barnes tries to sprawl but Paragus drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Paragus is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Barnes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Barnes trying to hold on to Paragus 's head to control him but Paragus postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnes wants to get back to his feet.
Paragus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barnes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barnes is rocked!
Paragus creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Barnes is out cold and this one is all over! Paragus climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
