Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Irving Massimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taisto Tappura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tappura has chosen Ring of fire as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Irving Massimo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 17 - 2, fighting out of New York, Taisto Tappura! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Tappura misses the target. Tappura works Massimo's body with a nice hook. A momentary lapse in concentration from Tappura enables Massimo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tappura manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Tappura trying to keep a closed guard but Massimo is proving a slippery customer.
Massimo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Massimo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Massimo connects with a couple of short punches. Massimo throwing strikes from guard but Tappura blocks nicely. Massimo scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tappura is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tappura has momentary wrist control but Massimo slips an elbow through the middle. Massimo postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Massimo throwing strikes but missing. Massimo preventing the sweep. Massimo works a leg free and moves into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Massimo connects with a nice short shot to Tappura's temple. Tappura blocking the ground and pound attempt from Massimo. Massimo wants to pass to mount but Tappura is defending the position. Tappura works his way to full guard. Good work. Massimo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Massimo is in close to Tappura's body, working some short punches and elbows. Massimo wants to control from the top but Tappura keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tappura wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Massimo is now in half guard. Massimo is trying to control the action in half guard but Tappura is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Massimo thows a huge punch but Tappura dodges it nicely.
Massimo winds up and cracks Tappura with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Tappura is rocked! Massimo lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Tappura! More strikes land and this one is all over! Massimo jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Irving Massimo! A relieved looking Irving Massimo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
