Bartnik's entrance music is Blacktide - Honest Eyes. A fine choice. Kublai Khan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartnik misses with a takedown attempt
and Bartnik takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Khan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bartnik closes the distance and clinches up with Khan, looking for a takedown. Bartnik pushes Khan against the cage but Khan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Khan let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Khan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bartnik darts in looking for a takedown but Khan gets double underhooks and turns Bartnik into the cage.

Bartnik closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Khan quickly recovers to half guard.

Khan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bartnik is working away from the top position though.
