Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toga Masotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly looks to land a combination. Masotti sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kelly pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Masotti takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kelly scoring well with a low kick there.
Kelly connects with a right hand. Masotti shakes it off.
A head kick from Masotti lands but Kelly takes it in his stride.
Masotti throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Masotti takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

I was talking to Masotti's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Kelly looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Masotti takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kelly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masotti has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masotti and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Masotti has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kelly.

Kelly is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Masotti had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
