Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antero Rokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mitchell might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Voices- Rev Theory. Rokka has chosen Twilight Guardians - Out of Our Hands as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Mitchell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antero Rokka! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitchell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mitchell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rokka appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Mitchell drops Rokka with a left and a right! Oh, Rokka is hurt - Mitchell dives into side control looking to finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rokka stops Mitchell from passing to mount. We've been hearing that Mitchell has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Mitchell wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rokka, who protects the arm well. Mitchell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rokka knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Mitchell working the ground and pound but Rokka is defending the strikes. Rokka gets back to half guard. Rokka wants to improve his position but Mitchell is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitchell tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rokka knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rokka is defending against the submission attempts here by Mitchell.
Rokka has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mitchell is working away from the top position though. Mitchell drops an elbow to the side of Rokka's head. Mitchell passes to full mount! Rokka manages to regain half guard. Good work. Mitchell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rokka's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rokka trying to control here.
Mitchell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rokka blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mitchell. Mitchell seems to be working for a kimura but Rokka defends the submission attempt. Rokka works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitchell throwing strikes from guard but Rokka blocks nicely. Mitchell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rokka's head. Rokka wants to sweep here but Mitchell controlling him for the moment. Rokka trying to keep a closed guard but Mitchell is proving a slippery customer.
Mitchell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rokka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mitchell has Rokka in his guard. Mitchell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mitchell wants to hit a switch here but Rokka passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mitchell there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitchell is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mitchell is bucking up trying to escape but Rokka cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mitchell is trying to escape the mount.
Rokka tries to control but Mitchell wriggling away. Mitchell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rokka dominating with strikes here. Mitchell working to try and regain half guard.
Rokka working Mitchell over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Mitchell dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A nice inside leg kick there by Rokka. That's going to slow Mitchell down. Rokka swings for the body but Mitchell moves out of range.
Rokka connects with the punch. Rokka moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
James Mitchell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Good exchange - Rokka coming out on top. Mitchell throws a right hand that Rokka ducks under and follows up with a left that Rokka also avoids with ease. Mitchell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rokka.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rokka lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Rokka sends Mitchell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rokka is motioning to the referee to let Mitchell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Mitchell is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rokka fakes the leg kick and cracks Mitchell in the body. Rokka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rokka feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mitchell sprawling to the canvas! Mitchell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rokka finish him?!
Oh Mitchell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Rokka! Mitchell is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antero Rokka! In his post fight interview, Antero Rokka started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
