Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronald Espinoza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Taker! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taker takes a swing at Espinoza's ribcage but misses. Taker misses with a double jab.
Espinoza has taken the fight to the clinch.

Espinoza has Taker pressed against the cage, preventing Taker from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Espinoza tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Taker tries to pull guard but Espinoza holds him up against the cage and eventually Taker drops back down to his feet.
Taker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Espinoza has him pressed against the cage. Espinoza pushes off an throws an elbow but Taker leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Espinoza controlling the action here for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Espinoza has Taker pressed against the cage, preventing Taker from circling away and getting back to striking at range. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Espinoza. Taker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Espinoza walks away with a smile on his face. Taker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Taker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Espinoza's waist but Espinoza gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taker off to one side. Ronald Espinoza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Taker. Espinoza dives in and scores a takedown into Taker's guard. Espinoza connects with a couple of short punches. Espinoza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Espinoza's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Espinoza drops back looking for a leg! Taker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Taker manages to kick Espinoza off! Espinoza jumps back into Taker's guard. Espinoza postures up and lands a big shot to Taker's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Espinoza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Espinoza drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Espinoza as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Taker screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Espinoza! Nice submission victory there!
