Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adalberto Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zo Zing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adalberto Hood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zo Zing!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood misses with a kick to the body.
Zing takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Zing has Hood up against the cage in a clinch.
Hood scores with an uppercut up the middle.


It looks like Zo Zing has been cut.
Hood misses with a short punch on the inside.
Zing landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Zing gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Zing trying to control the position from guard on top but Hood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hood looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hood looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Hood working for submissions but it's allowed Zing to get to half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hood is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zing pulls his head out easily.

Hood is looking for a triangle but Zing pushes his legs off easily.

Hood is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Zing shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hood is controlling Zing's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Hood has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zing is working away from the top position though.
Zing works his way into side control.

Hood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Zing drives through with a takedown into Hood's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hood escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zing gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Zo Zing has got the better of the ground game so far.

Zing connects with a couple of short punches.

The fighters are battling for position here. Hood manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Zing has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hood tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zing got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hood has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zing has managed to get both his arms back between Hood's legs - danger averted.
Zing tries to stand but Hood is controlling from the bottom.

Hood had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zing defends it easily.
Zing wants to control from the top but Hood keeps moving.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Zing thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Zing is breathing heavily.

Zing shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hood's guard.

Hood looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hood is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zing is aware though and is defending well.
Hood is pulling down on Zing's head. It's preventing any offense from Zing, at least for the moment.
Hood keeping moving, preventing Zing from controlling successfully.

Hood has his foot on Zing's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zing works his way back into a safe position though.
Hood has Zing pulled in close to control his posture.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Zing. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Zing stopping the sweep attempt from Hood.
Zing wants to pass the guard but Hood is keeping the position.
Zing postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Zing tries to sprawl but Hood drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Hood stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Zing to get to his feet.

Zing shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hood has his hands on Zing's head, controlling the position.

Zo Zing showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Zing closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hood to the mat! Hood manages to get full guard.

Hood has control of Zing's left arm, preventing Zing from doing any damage.

Hood has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zing can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Zing has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hood is proving hard to escape from.
Adalberto Hood has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Zo Zing is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
