Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Issei Sagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Farrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sagawa comes to the cage accompanied by Herb Alpert - Oriental Eyes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farrell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sagawa avoids it really well and circles away.
Farrell wants to slow Sagawa down by chopping away at his legs.
Sagawa thinks about countering with a body kick.
Sagawa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Farrell's waist but Farrell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sagawa off to one side.
Farrell is looking to clinch but Sagawa is avoiding it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Farrell is riding his opponent, not letting Sagawa buck him off.
You can see the frustration on Sagawa's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Sagawa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Farrell throws a solid leg kick but Sagawa takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Farrell.
Sagawa tries to counter by clinching up but Farrell breaks away and moves out of range.
Sagawa sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Sagawa wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Sagawa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Farrell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sagawa somewhat.

A very excited looking Owen Farrell rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
