Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sher Shah Suri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Waits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waits is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by What A Waste. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sher Shah Suri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Waits! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Suri throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Suri looking to score a takedown here. Waits is defending well but Suri drives through and ends up in Waits's guard. Suri loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Suri looking to pass the guard. Suri throws a big right hand that misses. Suri showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Waits lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Waits scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Waits working some strikes from top position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Waits accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Suri has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suri is controlling Waits's posture. Suri is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Waits trying to move into half guard but instead Suri has managed to sweep! Suri wants to control from the top but Waits keeps moving. Waits looking to hit a scissor sweep but Suri is one step ahead there. Suri postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Waits wants to sweep but no luck. Suri wants to control from the top but Waits keeps moving. Suri stays in close to Waits's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suri trying to control but Waits is working from the bottom. Waits has his hands on Suri's head, controlling the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Waits misses with a body shot.
Suri throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Waits sees it coming and avoids it easily. Waits jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Waits ducks under a wild hook from Suri. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Waits! But no joy. Suri takes a swing at Waits's ribcage but misses. Nice shot by Suri. Suri connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Waits staying out of range there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suri misses with a right hand and Waits counters with a lovely shot to the body. Suri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Waits was well out of range. Poor timing from Suri. Waits steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Suri. Suri waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Waits. Waits moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Waits is looking to chop away at Suri's legs. Waits gets caught napping as Suri dives in and scores a takedown. Waits manages to retain guard. Waits is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Suri is not content to let Waits control the position. Suri wants to control but Waits is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waits is keen to just control but Suri is a slippery customer. Suri has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Waits is working away from the top position though. Waits is keen to just control but Suri is a slippery customer. Suri is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at aLion's MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Waits working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Suri moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Suri keeping full guard, as Waits tries to pass. My spies in 63745 inform me that Waits has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Waits trying to control the position from guard on top but Suri is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sher Shah Suri dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Suri shoots in for a takedown but Waits shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Suri throws a right and a left that Waits avoids nicely. Suri is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Waits can do to turn this around? Suri misses with a hook. Waits ducked under it nicely. Waits throws a sloppy head kick and Suri cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Suri moves away from the strike by Waits. Suri looks to throw the jab but Waits is out of range. Waits scores with a crisp jab that stopped Suri in his tracks. Suri throws a shot from downtown. Waits moves away and avoids it. Waits lands a slapping body shot.
Waits throws a lazy body kick and Suri counters with a series of strikes. Waits will be more careful next time no doubt. Suri jabbing away but nothing is landing. Waits feints a counter leg kick. Waits shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Suri throwing a counter right hand but Waits manages to avoid it. Suri uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Waits.
Suri changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Suri moves out of range of the strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Suri throws a hook to the side of Waits's head but Waits sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Waits missing with a left hand there. Suri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Suri fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Waits. Suri looks to score with a jab to the body but Waits is just out of range. Waits throws a poor cross that misses
and Suri counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Suri cracks Waits with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Waits lands with a right hand. Suri ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Suri shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Suri was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Waits tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Suri presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Waits is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Suri thowing shots but they're missing. Waits slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Waits is trying to maintain the position but Suri is very close to passing his half guard. Waits moves into full guard.
Waits looking for a sweep. Not yet Waits, not yet. Suri trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Waits working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Suri. Waits bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Suri's guard. Suri is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Waits wants to pass the guard but Suri is keeping the position. Waits working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suri working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Waits. Suri keeping moving, preventing Waits from controlling successfully. Waits throws an elbow that misses. Suri uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Waits's guard. Nice move by Suri! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Waits holds on and takes a little breather. Suri won't allow Waits to sweep him here. Sher Shah Suri overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Waits lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Waits is pushing down on Suri's leg trying to pass to half guard. Suri is fighting to maintain full guard but Waits has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suri is trying to get back to full guard. Suri trying to control but Waits postures up.
Waits moves nicely into side control. Waits in side control, throwing shots but Suri defends. Waits trying to control the action but Suri is working from the bottom. Suri is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Waits off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sher Shah Suri dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Suri has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Waits. Waits lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Waits cracks Suri with a right hand to the side of the head. Waits slips under a jab from Suri. Waits misses with a body shot
and Suri counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Waits throws a nice looking combination but Suri bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Waits throws a shot to the body.
Tom Waits seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slow jab from Waits misses its intended target. Waits misses the jab. Waits misses with a hook. Suri ducked under it nicely. Waits scores with a crisp jab that stopped Suri in his tracks. Suri swings for the body but Waits moves out of range.
Sher Shah Suri is winning the standup battle so far. A nice combination there by Waits.

Waits does a little dance to reset his feet. A little jabbing left from Waits on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Waits ducks under a wild hook from Suri. Horrible takedown attempt by Suri or perhaps it was just good defense by Waits, which made it look bad. Waits throws out a loose jab but Suri uses good head movement to avoid it. Suri takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Waits misses with a body shot.
Waits scores with a hook. Suri with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Waits to score with a decent uppercut.
Suri is rocked! Waits cracks the inside of Suri's front leg. Oh Suri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Suri leaves his chin hanging out and Waits seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Suri crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tom Waits! A very excited looking Tom Waits made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. In defeat, Sher Shah Suri stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fuck this shit, I want my rematch! '.
