Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Narushima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Slyker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slyker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. It's Amazing by Kanye West kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slyker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Narushima to the ground. Slyker is now in Narushima's guard.
Narushima working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Slyker.
Narushima looking for a guillotine here but Slyker defends easily.
Slyker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Narushima's head.
Slyker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Slyker is in close to Narushima's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Slyker lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slyker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Narushima avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Slyker chips away with some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Slyker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Slyker throws a big right hand that misses.
Narushima manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Slyker manages to get himself to full guard.
Slyker pulls Narushima in to control the position.
Narushima trying to control the position from guard on top but Slyker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Narushima pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Slyker is keeping the position for now.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Narushima throws a strike but Slyker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slyker throwing strikes from guard but Narushima blocks nicely.
Slyker postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Slyker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Narushima's head.
Narushima knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slyker on the ground.

Narushima is rocked!
Slyker arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Narushima's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cain Slyker!
