The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bishop checks a leg kick.
Bishop feints and then cracks Sarnavskiy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sarnavskiy down.
Sarnavskiy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bishop is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sarnavskiy frees his head nicely. Oh but Bishop has switched to an armbar! Sarnavskiy is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

In his post fight interview, Benny Bishop started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
