Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Florentino Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vixx Bubanja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bubanja has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Vixx Bubanja has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Florentino Murray's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bubanja throws a sloppy head kick
and Murray counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bubanja is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Nice takedown defense from Bubanja. No joy for Murray on that attempt.
Murray checks the leg kick.
Murray throwing a counter right hand but Bubanja manages to avoid it.
Bubanja looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Murray is fending him off so far but Bubanja persists. Nope, Murray circles away and we're back to standing.

Murray stuffs the takedown attempt from Bubanja. Bubanja gets slowly back to his feet.
Murray could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murray dives in for a single leg takedown but Bubanja sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Murray closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bubanja circles away.
Murray changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bubanja looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Murray throws a strike aimed at the side of Bubanja's head but Bubanja avoids it well.
Murray is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bubanja has escaped the position, nice work there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Murray trying to control the action but Bubanja is working from the bottom.
Murray is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bubanja knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bubanja tries to buck Murray off but Murray is having none of it.
Bubanja is not content to let Murray control the position.
Murray working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Murray tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Murray has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bubanja throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Murray thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bubanja rushes Murray and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Murray tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Bubanja changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murray tries to avoid it but Bubanja manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murray to the ground. Murray escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Vixx Bubanja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Murray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bubanja tries to avoid it but Murray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bubanja to the ground. Bubanja escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bubanja shoots in looking for a takedown but Murray manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bubanja's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Murray shoots for a double leg takedown but Bubanja sprawls well. He's pushed Murray's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It looked like Murray wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Murray closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Murray in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Bubanja is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
