Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yrjo Jarvinen!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh wants to clinch up but Jarvinen keeps it at a distance.
Singh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jarvinen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Singh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Jarvinen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jarvinen won't allow Singh to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jarvinen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Singh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jarvinen is trying to maintain a safe position but Singh gets an underhook and turns Jarvinen into the cage.

Singh's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Jarvinen tightens his grip and picks Singh up, before dumping him to the ground. Singh manages to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jarvinen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

That's time! Singh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jarvinen doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Jarvinen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jarvinen stalks Singh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Singh's face. Singh staggers backwards, shaken.
Jarvinen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Singh throws a wild body kick that Jarvinen sees coming a mile off.

Jarvinen digs a good body shot into Singh's ribs.
Singh throws a front kick aimed at Jarvinen's knee but Jarvinen avoids it well.
Singh lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Yrjo Jarvinen has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Singh Rushes Jarvinen and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Jarvinen is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Singh Piles on the pressure and Jarvinen crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
