Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Couture might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pride Theme. Page comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Hand That Feeds kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Page sprawls well initially but Couture persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Page won't allow Couture to pass to mount.
Couture performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Page wants to improve his position but Couture is controlling well.
Couture seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Couture not doing much here.
Page looking for submissions off his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
