Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by TNT by AC DC. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Brown!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Troy Powers!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown avoids the body shot from Powers.
Powers lands with a shot to the body.
Brown walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Powers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brown looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Powers wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy.

Brown has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Powers working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Powers is stalling here. Brown is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Powers seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Brown has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

You can see the frustration on Brown's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
