Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carson Nemeth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hannibal Lecter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lecter feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nemeth's calf.
Lecter throws a head kick but Nemeth moves out of range.
Lecter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lecter gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lecter has Nemeth pushed against the cage.

Lecter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lecter turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Nemeth tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lecter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lecter cracks Nemeth with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Nemeth is in a horrible position here. Lecter smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Lecter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nemeth is bucking up trying to escape but Lecter cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lecter has control of Nemeth's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nemeth regains control of the situation pretty easily.
