Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Minoru Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian McJensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Minoru Suzuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian McJensen!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from McJensen misses.
McJensen tries to clinch but Suzuki moves out of range.
McJensen goes for a double leg but Suzuki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Suzuki continues to drive forward.
McJensen moves out of range as Suzuki throws a body kick.
Suzuki misses with a hook. McJensen ducked under it nicely.

Suzuki closes the distance and clinches.
Suzuki content to slow the pace in the clinch.
McJensen prevents a body shot from Suzuki.
McJensen has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Suzuki after a bit of a struggle.

McJensen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Suzuki avoids the body shot from McJensen.
Suzuki throws a big counter combination but McJensen scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Suzuki lands a head kick. McJensen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

McJensen fails with an attempt to clinch.
McJensen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Suzuki as he jumps to the side.
Minoru Suzuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian McJensen.

It seemed like McJensen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

McJensen lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Suzuki defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McJensen.
Suzuki feints and then cracks McJensen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McJensen down.
Suzuki wants to slow McJensen down by chopping away at his legs.
Suzuki throws a body shot but no joy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Suzuki. McJensen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Suzuki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McJensen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Suzuki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McJensen works over Suzuki's head and body with a nice combination.
A punch combination from McJensen misses.
Suzuki connects with a crisp jab.
Suzuki throws a shot to the body.

Suzuki connects with a solid leg kick.
Suzuki ducks under a wild hook from McJensen.
McJensen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Suzuki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Suzuki darts in and clinches McJensen up against the cage.
Suzuki throws a punch but it's blocked by McJensen.

McJensen manages to break the clinch.
McJensen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McJensen slips under a jab from Suzuki.
McJensen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Suzuki throws a wild body kick that McJensen sees coming a mile off.
McJensen blocks a head kick by Suzuki.
Suzuki throws an overhand right that lands on McJensen's shoulder, as McJensen tries to avoid the shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Suzuki misses with a straight left.
McJensen misses with the combination.
Suzuki throws an off balance right hand
and McJensen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McJensen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Suzuki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Suzuki appears to be looking for a big counter.
Suzuki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Suzuki blocks the body kick.
Suzuki missing with a left hand there. McJensen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
McJensen tries to clinch but Suzuki moves out of range.
Suzuki throws a hook to the side of McJensen's head but McJensen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Despite the aggression on McJensen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
McJensen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Suzuki.
Suzuki throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Minoru Suzuki dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

McJensen tries for a takedown but Suzuki circles away easily
and Suzuki counters with a lovely shot to the body.
McJensen misses with an uppercut. Suzuki saw that one coming.
Nice defenses there by McJensen.
Suzuki connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McJensen momentarily.
Suzuki throws a hook but McJensen avoids it easily.
McJensen throws a counter combo.
Suzuki is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McJensen can do to turn this around?
McJensen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

McJensen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Suzuki throws a lazy right hand but McJensen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Suzuki has an Americana. McJensen didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Suzuki is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Suzuki hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
