Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lex Logic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riel Dan Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reyes has chosen Bad House Music ('98 Dub Mix) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lex Logic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 10 - 2, fighting out of New York, Riel Dan Reyes! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Logic is trying to improve his position. Reyes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Reyes throws a strike aimed at the side of Logic's head but Logic avoids it well. Logic regains half guard. Logic is trying to maintain the position but Reyes is very close to passing his half guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Reyes working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reyes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Logic keeps working. Reyes with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Logic is looking for a sweep. Reyes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Logic is trying to maintain the position but Reyes is very close to passing his half guard. Logic avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reyes. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Logic looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Logic swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Reyes. Logic misses with a few strikes there.
Reyes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Logic is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Reyes walks into a stiff left hand from Logic. Logic jabs Reyes right on the nose. Reyes blinks but takes it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes misses the body punch letting Logic counter with a right hand. Logic lands a nice shot to the body.
Logic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Logic throws a jab but it's blocked by Reyes. It seemed like Reyes was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Logic misses with a kick to the body.
Reyes is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Logic throws a sloppy body shot

Reyes throws a lazy right hand but Logic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. It looked like Logic was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Reyes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Logic sprawls well initially but Reyes persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Reyes is trying to control the action in half guard but Logic is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Reyes works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes tries to control but Logic wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reyes is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Logic is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Reyes pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Reyes scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Reyes wants to control the pace but Logic is squirming around nicely. Reyes prevents Logic from getting the reversal. Reyes unloads with some shots from mount but Logic bucks and avoids them well.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Reyes has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd cheers as Reyes lands an impressive looking overhand right. Logic doesn't seem phased though. Reyes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Logic sees it coming and avoids it easily. Logic swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Logic throws an overhand right that lands on Reyes's shoulder, as Reyes tries to avoid the shot. Reyes scores with a jab. Logic acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Logic throws a nice outside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donk. Reyes catches Logic right on the button with a cross. A cross from Logic lands. Logic scores with a decent looking hook. Reyes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Reyes takes a swing at Logic's ribcage but misses. Logic feinted there with a counter leg kick. Reyes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Logic.
Reyes is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Logic with a body shot. Logic misses with a body kick. Reyes blocks a jab. Logic connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A jab from Reyes misses. Logic slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Reyes on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Logic. Logic obviously looking to wear him down.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Logic throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A swing and a miss from Logic. Logic throws a one two combo.
It looks like Riel Dan Reyes has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reyes digs a good body shot into Logic's ribs. Logic lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Reyes looks to score with a jab to the body but Logic is just out of range. Reyes works the jab nicely. A shot to the liver by Reyes. Beautiful body shot. Reyes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Logic takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Logic is looking for a sweep. Logic takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Logic defending against the ground and pound. Reyes lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Logic tries to improve position but can't. Logic is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Check out the look on Reyes's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Reyes is looking to work some ground and pound but Logic has wrist control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Riel Dan Reyes has got the better of the ground game so far. Reyes stands up over Logic, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Logic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Reyes. Logic connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Reyes momentarily.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Riel Dan Reyes. I've got Reyes winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
