The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwager Ii misses with a series of wild punches.

Nikolaev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nikolaev thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Schwager Ii's head.

Nikolaev is working for a kimura but Schwager Ii is defending it quite comfortably.
Nikolaev works his way into full mount!
Nikolaev lands a nice shot to the head.
Schwager Ii is trying desperately to improve position.
Schwager Ii is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Nikolaev looking for a guillotine from mount but Schwager Ii is having none of it.

Schwager Ii is trying to escape the mount.
BOOM! Nikolaev connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Schwager Ii taking shots to the head.
Nikolaev lands a couple of good shots and Schwager Ii has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Schwager Ii has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Nikolaev.
Schwager Ii trying to control the position but Nikolaev manages to sink in the hooks.
Schwager Ii trying to get back to his feet but Nikolaev is in full control for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nikolaev is working for a rear naked choke. Schwager Ii is not defending it well and Nikolaev has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Schwager Ii refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Schwager Ii's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
