Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koupounen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Koupounen drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Pete Koupounen has been cut.
Jones lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Koupounen.
Koupounen unleashes a big counter combination but Jones bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Koupounen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koupounen off to one side.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koupounen.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Koupounen's shoulder, as Koupounen tries to avoid the shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Koupounen throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Koupounen doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Koupounen to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Koupounen looks to clinch but Jones throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Koupounen taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
