Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saloth Sar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calm Like A Bomb! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sar lands a front kick. Sar avoids the head kick by A Bomb.
A Bomb lands a jab to Sar's midsection. Sar tries a head kick but it misses.
Sar tries to land a body kick and A Bomb counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A Bomb dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A Bomb works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A Bomb jabs Sar to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sar tries to keep at a distance but A Bomb has taken the fight into the clinch. Sar is looking to break free of the clinch but A Bomb has double underhooks. Sar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A Bomb just leaning against Sar, taking a breather. With the fighters clinched against the cage, A Bomb creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Sar wants to break free but A Bomb has control.
A right handed body shot lands from A Bomb.
A Bomb can't find room to land a body shot as Sar controls the action.
Sar wants to get back to striking at distance but A Bomb won't allow it.
A Bomb lands with a short shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. An uppercut to the body lands inside from A Bomb. Sar is breathing heavily. A Bomb lands a left hand.
A Bomb lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A Bomb lands with a right to the head. A Bomb lands a body shot. A body shot lands from A Bomb.
A Bomb presses Sar against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. A Bomb lands a body punch. A Bomb lands a body shot in the clinch.
A Bomb lands a hook that snaps the head of Sar backwards. A Bomb dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. A Bomb works on Sar's body with a couple of short punches. A Bomb lands an uppercut. A quick uppercut on the inside from A Bomb. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A hook to the body from A Bomb.
A Bomb lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A Bomb creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Sar's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Sar drops to his knees and A Bomb pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
