The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Czarnecki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beats sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Czarnecki somewhat.
Czarnecki shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beats is trying to defend but Czarnecki finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Beats actively working from the bottom here.
Beats is not content to let Czarnecki control the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beats looks like he's trying to stand up.
Czarnecki should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
