Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Takasugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corleone has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takasugi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Corleone was covering up waiting for the punch and Takasugi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Corleone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Takasugi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Takasugi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Takasugi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Corleone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takasugi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Takasugi cracks Corleone with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Corleone is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Takasugi lets go of the hold and Corleone can pop his arm back in it's socket.
