Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between CHAAAAALIE HUSTLE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JACK DEMPSEY (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that JACK DEMPSEY was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DEMPSEY shoots for a takedown but HUSTLE saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and DEMPSEY counters with a nice double leg into side control. HUSTLE won't be happy with that.

A cross from HUSTLE lands.
DEMPSEY avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
HUSTLE closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming DEMPSEY to the mat! DEMPSEY manages to get full guard.
DEMPSEY wants to sweep here but HUSTLE controlling him for the moment.
DEMPSEY is trying to keep HUSTLE in close.
DEMPSEY throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
HUSTLE slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
HUSTLE sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed DEMPSEY's guard.

HUSTLE thows a huge punch but DEMPSEY dodges it nicely.
HUSTLE thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed DEMPSEY's head.

and DEMPSEY counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

A short body shot lands from HUSTLE as the two fighters clinch.
DEMPSEY jumps guard but HUSTLE stands there with DEMPSEY around his waist. DEMPSEY gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
HUSTLE escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

DEMPSEY misses with a takedown attempt
and HUSTLE counters with a straight right hand.
DEMPSEY gets caught flat footed, as HUSTLE shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
DEMPSEY is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
HUSTLE trying to control the position from guard on top but DEMPSEY is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
HUSTLE looking to sit in guard and control but DEMPSEY gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Well DEMPSEY has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
